well like the title says i have no reverse this morning i started my car and put it in reverse and nothing all the other gears work 1 2 d and od it is weird because when i start the car in parking it starts then i go down to reverse and it only revs i go down to where neutral should be and it goes forward put back in parking and it goes forward please need some input thaks

try jacking up the back and see if you can turn the wheels backwards by hand with the car in neutral or reverse, with the car off. This happened to me and i was told one of the possibilities was the 2nd band was engaging pretty much all the time.

If you go forward in neutral and its feels like the brakes are on when you try to go to reverse then your forward clutch in seized and you will be looking at rebuilding or replacing the trans
