Default Hurt Trans at track.Need Help from Trans Guys...

Third round at track yesterday, I launch the car at 2,300 with 19lbs in rear and hear and feel a BLUNK..car stops, I try to drive it and hear clunk. I have no drive or third gear..reverse works so I back out of the lanes and limp home (29 miles) at 25-30 mph in 2nd gear..trans was built 2 1/2 years ago with good parts..lots of bracket racing since then..what do you think I need?
Thanks..I have a race next weekend that I need to prepare for...

Another question, same subject..what would it take to install a 350 turbo in place of the 4L60E and is this a good idea if the car is being bracket raced several times a month?

If you don't mind not having OD, a TH350 can hold some good power with the right parts in it. I have one I built for a tubed/chassis-ed big NOS S-10 that is running deep into 9's. There are a few stickies above that cover this conversion. Take a look. Vince
