Default strong 4l80e converter needed

Quick story.Had a vigilante 3 disc converter behind my 383 with an s91 turbo behind it.Turns out it couldnt handle the power and was blowing through the converter.Have sent it into Precision Industries and they think they can do some things to make it handle the power. But with all the other set backs on my car i will lean towards it not holding the power when it comes back.So just to stay ahead of the game looking for a converter for my 4l80e.

Needs to be a lockup converter that will hold over 800rwhp easily.O have heard the ohio boys use midwest racing converters. However they dont have a website and i cant get any info on them.So if anyone has suggestions send them my way. Thanks

You could call Yank and they'd likely recommend their PY series.

Are you looking for something to handle lock up at the track? Definitely need a multi disk for that. We are working on some new 4L80E stuff, multi disk for WOT. Give me a call and I will answer any questions you have.

I'm running the PY 3400, so far so good. Around 800-850 to the wheels now. The real test will be this weekend. Upping the boost.
