What Transmission to use?

What Transmission to use? I am building an S-10 with my brother, and we have a 6.0 to put in it, I have options with the transmission because I have 4 of them :
- 82 700R4 from a suburban with a 6.2 diesel
- TH400 but its a pontiac, dont know if that will bolt up, had to use an adapter plate on a 350
- TH350 stock
- and the 4L60E from the S-10
Just looking for some suggestions. Its going to be a street/strip truck, so I don't know if having overdrive really matters.
