Temp gauge pics... We just installed a cyberdyne digital trans temp gauge in the GFs 02 TA.
Current mods are, 224R cam, Yank SS3600, full exhaust, lid, pulley, blah blah.
We also installed a B&M Hi-Tek supercooler with a built in fan. The sender for the gauge was installed in the feed line to the cooler. The fan comes on at 175*, and for the last few days of driving, the highest its displayed is about 180.
Its kind of hard to see the numbers in that pic from the glare of the flash.
Heres a pic of the E-cutout switch.

ill get a picture of mine up as soon as i can but you can get it from summit for about $60 i believe..
they look real sharp especially at night except the only thing is if you dont hook up the dimmer its super bright..

I have a VDO gauge in the same position on my Z28 because it matches the stock gauges really well and a custom paddle switch next to it (similar to the switch on the SLP fan switch). I use it to switch between trans and coolant temps.
I think that is the best location for a gauge.

12V switched from the traction control harness.
Ground from the closest screw, somewhere on the shifter I think.
I ran the sender wire through a grommet on the firewall under the PCM and under the carpet up to the gauge.
Could I get something like that but instead of the TCS (because I dont have it on mine) put in the SLP window switch. Would the SLP switch just go there instead of the TCS or would I need a whole new cover? And anyone have the part# for that cover from GM?
