I was on the way to work and my transmission started acting up.
It seems the transmission won't go into 3rd.
It's just stuck on 2nd.

I couldn't deal with it since I had work.

On the way home, I had to take sidestreets home. I didn't feel comfortable taking it on the freeway.

It would go from 1-2 like normal but then it would "hang" from 2-3.
I can rev the engine up but it wouldn't shift.

The transmission only 2-3 months old. It's paired with a very mild torque converter.

It's a Ace Racing Transmission stage 2 with Circle D 2800-3000 stall.
I have transmission cooler attached as well.

When I got home I ran my code scanner and all I got was P0155.
Would that cause the transmission to act up?

Checked the fluid and it was red and it wasn't burnt.
I didn't have a chance to get the setup tuned. I was gonna get it done next month.

So far all I've done is daily drive the setup. Never tracked it or even launched with it.

 

I would give Gil a call this morning to see what his thoughts are. Not sure what that code is but I do not remember it being trans related. Vince

 

by looking at the code it has something to do with your oxygen sensor. definitely give Gilbert a call.

I'll be here at the shop until about 3:00 this afternoon... central time of course. I have a big grudge race out of state. Have 2 5.xx sec big shot nitrous cars I'll tuning and will be out of pocket all weekend.
