What tire pressure were you running? I think the streets work well really low like 13-16 psi. Did you try changing how you launch? Like stepping up 500 rpm till you see better results? And do you have any suspension upgrageds?

I'm running 15psi and i have spohn tork arm and lowers i've tryed lowering psi all the way to 10psi in steps. I just want to know if this converter is worth getting it tuned and how to tell were it flashes. when i tested my car the track was not the best and it was hot. But with a cam like i have i think i need a bigger stall.

take the car to Speed Inc and get it tuned, it needs it bad, my car with just bolt-ons made a world of difference with tuning. I used to run a Vig3600 and did very well with it running a best of 11.7 with mid 1.5 60' with very few mods. If you do decide to go with another converter though I highly recommend TCS. They are a sponsor on here and as you can see from my sig their converters perform just was well as the more expensive Yank TP series. You could always take the car back to Speed Inc for some adjustments when/if you change converters.

How much did you pay for that? Not trying to be rude, just speaking from experience here. You would probably be much better off letting a professional tune your car instead of spending the same amount or more on stuff to try to do it yourself and not know how it works or what to do. JMO

Your probley right and i will still end up geting it tuned by a pro but i figure if i run the bottle next year i'll be able to keep a eye on my afr. And most people would say spend the money now to get it tuned but with work being so bussy it's hard to get away.Night time is my only play time.

shift extension: is how far the rpms drop back down to after a shift. The bigger the stall, the less rpms they drop. You want a stall thats gonna keep you in your power band the best. Normally a 4400 stall drops back to 5600 rpms I think, maybe more. My 3600 drops back to 5300-5400.

when i flash the stall, on atap it usually jumps to 4000rpms, so a vig3600v is really a 4000stall like everyone says.

the norm 60ft for a bolt on vig3600 car is 1.6's
Ive been 1.58 stock internally on nittos with it(3.23s), and Lynda's been 1.5's. With just the cam, ive been 1.55's on et streets. With the heads I hope to pull 1.50's or better if my gear and rear lets me.

you should have no issue pullin 1.5's with heads/cam and that stall! The only weight mods I have are the seats out... sway bar has never been off the car and i run stock shocks. Raceweight from 3450-3550 usually

good luck, and I think you would be happy with this stall..

one other I would reccomend is the TCS 4000-4200 stall(anything in the 3600-4200 range is perfect)

My car has alot of good componets to get the job done we will see after i tune it if that don't work i'm going to have to find time to get it done. I'm hopen this weekend to get to the track if the weather is good.afr is way off hope to get it close with innovate wideband system before the weekend.
