Need opinions on Munsinger Converters

I am looking into a TH400 setup to go behind my nitroused 408 that I will be installing this winter. I need to find a converter and have heard good things about Coan and Chance but I'm wondering if they might be a bit much for my setup. I am wanting to be around 850rwhp with a 300 shot of spray.

I have a chance to pick up a Munsinger custom built for a trans brake, which I will be running. Owner says it has about 250 miles or so on it and it's a 4k stall.

What do you guys think? Have you heard of this converter?
