Does converter need sent?
Does converter need sent? A buddy of mine and I installed an ms4 cam and a vig 4k stall a few weeks ago. well after a couple of getting on it the trans started slipping really bad and bouncing off the rev limiter. so i ordered a new trans from performabuilt. but my question is, should i send my converter in to vig to have them check it out and send it back? or can i save the money and headach and put it in the new trans? maybe clean it out with brake cleaner first? i know this is probably a stupid question but this is my first stalled car and dont know to much about converters.

The converter needs to be flushed either by a local trans shop or vigilante.
FYI: I sent my converter back to TCI when I had my 02 Z and the total came to $212(their work and shipping both ways). I had my trans builder flush my PTC for my TH350 in the TA and he only charged me $5

man thats awsome they did it for 5 dollars! vigilante told me they would do it for free, but i have to pay the shipping both there and back. but thanks for the info, ill deff call some local trans shops and see if they can flush it for me! that would save a lot of time!
