Default Shift kit

this may seem like a stupid question to most but i am not familar with shift kits so here is my question. if i put a shift kit into a f-body,4l60-e how hard will it shift through all the gears and downshift. when u answer hard or soft could you give a example like hard means u will have back problems in future. also if i add a stall with the shift kit make it even harder shift? note just a stock f-body no mod's.thx

i installed the transgo hd-2 shift kit in my car, and the shifts are definetly quicker and harder, but nothing you can't live with.

I don't have a shift kit, but I have a tune and the car gives nice firms shifts. My buddy has a servo and the same exact tune (same file). He may have better clutch packs since his 2-3 was slipping. His car shifts so hard it breaks the tires loose with dr's in 2nd gear at the track. So what I guess I am saying is that if you were getting headers and what not and need a tune soon, you could tell the tuner to up the line pressure a little and it will give you a nice firm shift.
