Default Peak torque vs. stall speed

Reading various websites they mentioned the optimal drag stall will have it be 500-700 rpm less than your peak torque. So I pulled up my old dyno graph and it looks like I made peak torque at 5000-5200 rpm. I shift at 6800 and my raceweight is 4000 lbs with 3.46 gears and 26" tires.

I guess my question is whether a 4500 stall would be to excessive for the street in the th400 swap I'm doing? It's primarily going to be for drag racing, but I'll still drive it occasionally.

I would probably call some converter companies such as Yank, PI, TCI and Fuddle to see what they'd recommend.

I'm looking for real world experience as well from people who have stalls that high in their car. My converter decision is down to Circle D, Yank, or Neil Chance. In order of ascending prices, lol.

Boy, the Neil Chance stuff is NICE! A friend of mine bought one of their bolt-together setups for his Rossler TH400 conversion in a DOHC turbo '03 Cobra. Nothing short of the best.

I just found out the guy who tuned my car has a Neal Chance in his turbo Camaro and TH400 combo. They are spendy, but I only want to build this thing once.
