Difference between SS4000 and PT4000?

Difference between SS4000 and PT4000? I've been reading about these converters for a while now because I want to make the right decision, but when I compare the two, there doesn't seem to be much of a difference in build.
The SS4000 is a little lighter and has a bigger clutch size, but the PT4000 has a kevlar clutch and a posi lockup clutch. Their STR's and efficiencys are pretty similar.
What exactly in the build made the PT4000 superior since it appears they use basically the same components?

Re: Difference between SS4000 and PT4000? The PT4000 will have a higher shift extension because it doesn't have a 21 blade stator. As you said, it has a posi-loc clutch. And it is slightly more efficient (96% compared to 94%.)
