Default Difference between SS4000 and PT4000?

I've been reading about these converters for a while now because I want to make the right decision, but when I compare the two, there doesn't seem to be much of a difference in build.

The SS4000 is a little lighter and has a bigger clutch size, but the PT4000 has a kevlar clutch and a posi lockup clutch. Their STR's and efficiencys are pretty similar.
What exactly in the build made the PT4000 superior since it appears they use basically the same components?

The PT4000 will have a higher shift extension because it doesn't have a 21 blade stator. As you said, it has a posi-loc clutch. And it is slightly more efficient (96% compared to 94%.)
