No overdrive after rebuild
No overdrive after rebuild A buddy of mine recently rebuilt his transmission and it will shift 1st 2nd and 3rd fine but it hesitates when wanting to go into overdrive and will not go. Is it something in the valve body that needs to be checked, Or what else could it be?
I would check the OD servo ring first

is it going into gear at all? slipping?
if it isnt a bad oring or seal on the servos then i would just open up the rebuild manual and start checking everything you can get to for the 3-4 system..good luck..oh yeah check the 3-4 encased checkball in the back of the servo bore.
