Default differences in single disc and multidisc Vigis..

What are the main pros/cons with the single vs Multi-disc vigis? I have a 3disc and on the dyno it's one of the most effecient converters MTI has seen in awhile (Only a 2-3 hp drop unlocked vs locked.

But is there any other benefit? I'm have to have this one rebuilt when I put in my built 4l60 and I'm thinking if there isn't a big charge I might get it upgraded to the 5disc cause I think mine is a 3disc.

thanks!!

Basically, a multidisc is needed for more effeciency behind a poweradder. It's like adding more clutch discs ibn a stick car. Better grabbing power.
They ARE softer off of the line though.

SWEEET!!! Maybe that's why I can pull 1.5's with drag radials but MPH my *** off!! and the dyno proved the effeciency....Great...gonna send my 3disc in and just have them rebuild it for my new Ross built 4L60 coming at the end of the month.

WHOOOO....my tranny had over 95,000 miles when the stage 2 h/C went on..I think I had 1 week to enjoy it and kick *** before it started going south. Cant wait till I have a tranny that will put all 400+ hp to the ground again!!
