Need Someone to Weld Headers
Need Someone to Weld Headers We're having trouble finding someone who can reliably weld headers for us. We have all the jigs and tubing on hand. Access to a pipe bender (up to 2") would be beneficial as sometimes the primaries need some tweaking when going into the jig. Ideally we'd like someone willing to make this a long term thing and build headers on an as needed basis.
Looking for someone preferably in the Somerset, KY area. We're about 1.5hrs South of Lexington.

I used to know a guy that built a lot of custom headers, the trick was welding them up (tig) then putting them in a oven and heating them to red hot and letting them cool to relieve all the welding stress. Final step was to them flat machine the flange on the sealing surface. YMMV Plus the guy used ot weld for NASA. LOL His headers were north of 2K..
