Knowing gm they will take a great looking Aussie car, bland it down 15 notches, use as many cheap materials and viola they present it as gold.

Its going to have the new Impala front end on it. If the new SS doesn't have the LSA, then GM failed.

Nope they can keep it. Not buying anymore POS from gm. The only thing I want from them anymore is an LSX engine. Not only were my lemons a constant battle, but gm was far from helpful or caring about it as well.

Last I checked 355hp does not come in as weak. As I understand it the "SS Sedan" will be fairly low production, and reasonably well appointed. I expect Gen V V8.

It does when its in a car that big but I believe GM "detuned" the motor to help with fuel economy and low end torque not really a performance car per say. If this car comes out and doesn't beat the g8 performance numbers in every way it will be a flop since I doubt the look will be the big seller based upon the gto and g8's. Don't get me wrong I like both cars but the general public not so much.

Perhaps you should go back and read some of the articles about this car. Low production/high output seems to be the call. Think G8 GXP type car.

I think you got confused on my last post I was talking sbout the reason they put the weaker motor in the caprice not the up coming SS. I know it's a long shot but I would love to see a ls7 in this car since its more of a niche car but sadly I know that won't happen but it's nice to dream.
