I've always liked the look of Land Rovers, and especially the Defenders. But they're so fantastically unreliable that I wouldn't trust one to take me to the grocery store and back, much less anywhere off road. Seriously, if I needed to tackle anything tough, I'd buy a jeep and call it good. This Defender is pretty awesome though, thanks to the LS3 swap. Anyone here have experience with a swap like this? It always amazes me to see videos of these things out in the middle of nowhere, because it's hard to believe they got their under their own power! Ha ha!
