Drag racing 2010 CTS-V Vs. a 2010 GTR
I called out my friend and his GTR to drag race my 4 door Cadillac. Went pretty well.
First race I treed him, my reaction time was .165 (hey, this thing is a tank to get moving) to his .485. I ran a 11.967 @ 117.915 to his 12.253 @ 119.475. MOV was .589
Second race we were both asleep at the light, me .311, him .428. My tranny acted up and hit the rev limiter at the 3-4 shift costing me some time and mph. I ran a 12.333 @ 112.097 to his 12.262 @ 119.168
I STILL WON, by 4 hundredths of a second.
BTW, this is high altitude racing, the track is at 5225' and the DA was 7079 the first race and 7250' the second.

It is until you get the trans tune happy. Mine will shift spot on even on nitrous. Once you get in the 700whp range then it can just be the trans not being happy but we have had a few up there that the trans is still kicking butt. Nice wins btw. Do you do your own tuning? Just get the trans tune lined out, they can be picky.

I'm getting E mail tunes from Jesse @ wait4me. He's hard to get a hold of, very busy I guess, I'll try for a revised tune.
BTW: I also got to run a stock Z06, but he was on street tires and it was no contest. Beat him by almost a full second, two times.
