Default Check Engine Light

I installed some long tubes, high flow cats, and a catback. My check engine light came on afterwards. I forget the code #, but it was "catalyst efficiency below threshhold" for both banks.. just wondering if a tune will knock those codes out?

Also, my oil pressure is reading 130 psi with the car on or off.. so i know its not running that high. has anyone had this problem? Does the sensor need to be replaced?

Thanks

A tune will cure the cat ef problem, but it has to address that particular problem otherwise forget passing smog.

The oil pressure sensor is shot (common problem).

Just having longtubes will fail smog in California, unless you know someone.

I have long tubes (B&B) and just got my PCM back.

I was fighting the cat eff and evap since august of 11.

It was a real nightmare and I spent over $1k in gas and chasing ghosts (like replacing sensors and blown out header gaskets) driving all over creation trying to get the tests to either run and at least one of them.

I haven't had a chance to run the car yet, but I have been reassured my smog test problems are fixed.

As it is, I am good for this year and next year is my "by" year so I don't get machine tested till 1214.

I will be ready for them this time!
