Cool, thanks for taking this on. Definitely interested in the result. I like the look of my carbon vinyl overlays, but the corners snag on the rags when the car gets washed.

They are selling at $60 for the set of 3 stock colors. Just need to verify the size is the same.

EDIT: Part numbers match between the 2004 and the 2011 badges as 15851892

I can't find them anywhere, all I see is MOPAR stuff...can some one send me a link?

This is the only one they show.

Yes, he's got a huge Dodge following. this is the first time he gets attention from the V community. The one posted with the Texas colors is the only custom one that was around. So make your own badge. Get something going with it. Judging at his work he can make some badass stuff.

i cant find where to order at on their website

Bio248 11-14-2014 07:57 AM

just email him and go from there. there isn't a specific product you can buy. you have to create or specify what you want.

yeah pretty much.

His page doesn't have a email sent verification, so you feel like it's not going through.

but just tell him what you want. you can even draw it and he can come up with it.

With all the interest V owners have in replacing these badges, he should create a few options/examples, including one that is close to the original V1, V2 etc. OEM badges.

Include a price and an easy path to order them.

Found these guys too. I'm sure they will make whatever people want.

you can probably get away with doing it on the car.

I confirmed the other day that the inserts can easily be removed without removing the badge from the car. I only did 1, so maybe it was an anomaly and the other 2 will be a pain in the ass. With this one I was able to lift the edge of the flag insert with a razor blade and peel it out. I did break it in the process, but if you're planning on new inserts that doesn't really matter.

Now I suppose I need to actually order the inserts!

My badges were new and bright. I've just been loving custom colors there.

I was confused by the "fixed my faded V badges" title of the thread.

I ordered 3 of the badge inserts with the factory colors. I haven't actually installed them yet, as it's been cold and I wasn't sure the adhesive would like that. I'll wait until I get a warmer day.

Anyway, here are a couple pics comparing the new insert to one of my horribly faded badges, and also to new badges on a car on the local dealer lot. The new inserts have a more metallic look to the colors, which is particularly noticeable with the yellow and blue. I think they look fine, so I plan to install them, but if you're looking to maintain as close to factory look as possible, you'd probably want to work with Nate on the colors.

I emailed him but haven't heard a response yet..I really want to pop the yellow color and maybe do a yellow/black only badge.. I may just try some sort of paint.. hobby/modeling paint and a clear.

I initially did this for a V1 that j have since sold. I didn't male a thread until now that I have a V2. Post you badge if you something unique. It would be nice to see some different stuff.

Here is a new badge.

I assume this is GM OEM. Looks very good. You get what you pay for, just too bad they are relatively expensive.
