Default I finally fixed my faded V badges :)

Picture of 2 stock inlays removed and the new and improved inlay on top.

I also went ahead and ordered a custom power plant badge

If anyone else is tired of their faded badges I got mine from Nathan at Rebadge Designs Inc.

Very good guy. and the price is almost nothing considering what you are fixing. Sure Beats paying 90 for a stock badge

It also beats waiting on 8th day creation Stickers for about a month some times and not hearing anything back from them as well.

He can make anything.

Hope to see some badass fixed badges.

** to remove the stock inlay. Use one razor to raise the top right corner, then another razor to slice off the glue attaching it. This will ruin the stock inlay so there is NO GOING BACK.

So I'm guessing V2 badges are different than V1 badges in that they appear to be two piece?

That's a legit question...is it more important to protect some fancy badge then let people know about a viable fix for a problem that affects most V owners ?

Ths is why we can't have nice things.

I am literally inches away from deleting the thread and issuing infractions. The single reason I am not is because this is very useful info for V owners. PLEASE do not bring drama from another forum/facebook to this site. Final warning.

They make good quality badges.... We have ordered over 1,000 from them... It can be expensive if youre making a one off custom thing but if not, worth every penny

i don't see an answer in here anywhere.

V1 badges do the same thing. you can pop out the flag insert and replace it with something else.

So what did you actually pay? I don't see any prices on the website, just hundreds of samples of what he has made in the past (too many samples to load on the slow network here at work).

And as I said on cf.com, I'm confused by your pics - did you get one that's blacked out (except for the red block), or does it just look that way in the photos? If you did get one that didn't match the other two, why does it appear that you put that mismatched one on the side of the car?

I'm assuming these are just adhesive badges that go on over the flag portion of the existing factory emblem. Right, dead civic?

it's a complete replacement flag section. the stock badges are two pieces, the chrome V/surround and the flag that is an insert. you pull out the insert and replace it with a domed decal of whatever design you choose.

Thanks for the answer Bio.

AAIIIC:

I ordede grey black and red. It looks blacked out at certain angles. But all 3 match. I might be buying all blacked out with red because it looks really good.

I won't talk about pricing. I'd hate to say one thing here and have people holding him to what I said if anything changes.

Yes. It got a hair pricey for the custom rear badge I ordered. But his quality matches his price. Very good work.

Well, I'll be damned. I had always assumed the stock badge was one piece. So this is probably addressed elsewhere, but how hard is it to pop out the inserts on a stock emblem? Do you have to remove the emblem to pop out the flag, or can you do it while it's still on the car?

Ahhhhhh, I understand now that you put that clarification at the top of the picture. I thought that was 3 new badges. (Your "faded" badges look 1000x brighter than mine, so I thought the pic was 2 new blue/red/yellow badges + 1 black/grey/red badge.)

My badges where new and bright. I've just been loving custom colors there. It is effortless, to replace. When I get the badge bio sent me I'll make a how to with pictures.

You don't have to remove the badge from the car.

Okay, good info here. Next question, are the V2 flag inserts the same size as the V1? Meaning can I just go off of the size you already ordered or do I need to start from scratch on getting one made for my V1?

I'm 80% percent certain they are the same. If no one knows for sure. Bios badge will varify for sure.
