Default Alcantara shifter boot group buy #2.

Back by popular demand. I will set up another group buy for the Redline Goods alcantara shifter boots.

All* will be alcantara with silver stitching. There will be an option of stock height or 1.5" shorter than stock. I will only be charging $53 shipped for the standard height and $62 shipped for the 1.5" shorter boots.

* Just ask if you want a different material and or color of stitching. I'm sure the price will still be significantly lower than buying a single one.

Post #2 is the sign up list. I will wait until next Friday, May 16, to ask for your payments via Paypal. This will give people enough time to sign up and I can get a decent count of how many to order and the price that they will be.

Thanks,
Brian

Final Pricing for this group buy after Paypal fees and shipping:

Alcantara - Standard Length - Silver Stitching = $53

Alcantara - 1.5" Shorter Length - Silver Stitching = $62

Solid Leather - Standard Length - Silver Stitching = $43

Solid Leather - 1.5" Shorter Length - Silver Stitching = $52

Solid Leather - 1.5" Shorter Length - Black Stitching = $52

Here is how it is installed. I quoted it from the previous group buy thread.

Here's a shot I took while taking the original apart. I did not originally remove the 'clip' part but just slipped the o-ring off after peeling the leather apart. The clip you see on top there serves to hold the o-ring on which the original boot is wrapped around and glued upon itself. I later removed the clip using a pick tool. A needle nose was just rounding them off and I was afraid of breaking them.

My guess is it will hold together as that clip is quite snug against the unfortunately short stalk of the shifter ****. Here's how she looks for now...

At this point I am not going to glue down the tabs in case I need to mess with it. Once the aluminum surround is reinstalled it is very snug and I don't see it pulling back up.

and +1 for the mini binder clips...

These are the options per their website: Leather, Perforated Leather, Nappa Leather, Alcantara, Faux Alcantara, Carbon Fiber Vinyl, Bride.

You want real suede instead of Alcantara?

does the alcantara get dirty easily with dust and such? also can I get a leather one and still be part of the group buy? ALSO does the 1.5" shorter a perfect fit for your hurst shifter?

Easily get dirty - Not really.
Leather - Yes (not sure on actual price until I order but I am sure it will be significantly less than ordered individually.)
1.5" shorter is good for the Hurst shifter.
