SteveL won top dog, WOOF WOOF, its amazing what 6 degrees of timing and some high octane will do! Good job ! I think we're onto something... BTW get a new Torque Arm steve, that 3 piece one won't work very good! Andre's car went 10.2@135 spinning, sorry for not lining the car up better, but there wasn't much track left at the end of the day. It was bald at the line. Should run a 9sec pass next time out! Matt P ran a 11.0@ 126 I think. Good driving banging those gears! Rampant ran 11.4@121 and should have more in it with some aggresive driving. Claudio's car ran low 12's, but needs the juice to wake up that 3 disc convertor! Pomp's car looks like it has troubles running 13.0 and smoking to. Vince's car went 9.05 running out of gear, boy does that car bring back memories Of course many more cars we're there... Nice to see everyone again

Thanks Dave I was happy with it, drove it to the track and the best part, drove it home. I did improve on the run you mentioned in a bracket race I went 11.43@116.5 1.595 60' and a 7.3 1/8 @ 96.4. That would have been a good pass if I had not been messing around trying to win the bracket race.

Yes 6 degrees timing race fuel and a secret ingredient. I think I saw a 10.70 and a 132mph trap speed. Pure physics. Mph not far off Andre's hmmmm.

It was run what you brung and SteveL brought lots. Congrats Steve.

Maybe I miss read the board, but I was behind them in the staging lane and could have swore that is what I read. If I'm wrong sorry.

Wade, did you hit 10.20's after in Andre's Formula?

If so, you should easily have 9's in cooler air at that track. That is VERY impressive!!!

I bet you guys will hit 9's before the end of the year

Congrats!

10.01@127.7 The old LT1 did alright and got me home to Montreal even after zinging the motor on my last run.
Had a great weekend but kind of left a sour taste with the BS that followed. The internet always helps with that.
In this case the grapevine was right. 6 degrees taken out, high octane and a hidden (and denied having) kit put SteveL on top. He still got the win light and it was a fun day.

10.0, now that is flying
I am thinking maybe it was kept quiet to keep the concentration level up, or else there would have been the million and one questions all day long...
Do you know how many times back in the day when people asked what size shot I ran and I was off 150-200 hp worth? Nobody's buisness, and I don't think they hold a grudge... Same thing, no biggie.

OK, I'll play along. 11.0 (typo above) but I think my Pete Jackson gear drive needs adjustment. A few guys mentioned it was a little noisy under the hood. LOL

Wade's cars have always loved the juice. I remember a few years ago I organized a TO F bod vs TO mustang shootout. The next quickest car was an ATI and juiced late 90's cobra running mid-high 11's (also came in on a trailor) and Wade had the old ARE silver Camaro out. These 2 cars ended up in the final and I asked Wade to run without the sauce to make it a little more fun to watch as he was 2 seconds quicker then the stang. His response was " I never run without the juice." I guess he knows and loves it and his customers do too. Nothing wrong with that.
Andre, I thought it was 10.2?? When we watched Wade do the last run you said the 200 shot was in there and if it blew up it would be rebuilt quickly.

Our plan was to only spray a 100HP shot trying to get a high 10 second pass... Wade and I where both surprised when the car picked up 10MPH (122 to 132) and dropped 8 tenths (11.2 to 10.4)! This was with the jets on the TNT card... Paul M and Hillar where there when he pulled the jets out... our plans changed as we found ourselves less than half a second away from breaking into the 9's! Wade offered me to try put in the 200HP jets, but because we did not get to check the A/F on the dyno before hand (not really needed with a 100HP hit) he pulled a bunch more timing and richened up the tune in order to be 'safe'. With the bigger hit the car only picked up 3MPH (132 to 135) and dropped 2 tenths (10.4 to 10.2)... it's pretty obvious that we only picked up about 40HP tops... we'll be going back soon to shoot for a 9 second pass, hopefully you will have your 10 second pass by then It's true that my car is really set up for spray now with a 3 disk converter that actually slows down the car along with a 28" tall tire, but it still runs consistant 11.2's all day long and it will be running 10's with a couple very minor changes we have planned... I would be pretty happy to see consitant 10's with a little pump gas 385CI LS1... and before you bring it up, yes I know my car is 500lbs lighter than yours... it also only makes 430RWHP in it's current configuration...

When it blows up we'll rebuild it

My car used to make 2 secs up and 30mph on the spray Boy would it be boring to run it straight motor. ALthough 500rwhp would go high 9's if lightened and geared, etc
