Had some Clancy's Amber Ale on tap this weekend, not a big deal for some of you, but I gotta go away to get it, not enough people drink it here and bars either don't have it, or it sat around for to long and it's skunky...

So, who can drink more. The average Canadian or an American? I got my money on us Canadians. The average drink contains a bit more alcohol in Canada. Rye I think is at 40% compared to 35%, and beer I think is 5% compared to 4.5%. I could be wrong, if so can some of the Americans post up what % their booze is?
On a side note, I had my first Moosehead last night, I would give a 7/10. It seems watered down. If it helps for comparision it was a can of beer. I got a free glass though! So I would have to give it a 8/10 for free stuff! I would drink it again.

I like good tasting beer and if the alcohol content gets to high then usually it overpowers the beer but thats me. If i want something strong then i will just drink grappa

Canned Moose is pretty bad IMO,,,,,best out of the barrell,,,bottle is ok, but barrell is breakfast worthy. ((hehehehehe))
Coors Lt???????????????????????????????????????????????? Your Coors must be VERY different from ours,,,yuck.
IF it was I that was representin the U.S. for beer drinking,,,,,,i feel i would be a worthy adversary....

Perhaps we should meet up sometime and I could represent my fellow canadians, lol. All this talk is getting me thirsty, time to get some odds and ends done, work out than she's go time watching the hockey game tonight. Pilsner coming this way and hopefully I stay away from the Captain Morgan's, thats for this weekend ![Chug! Chug! Chug!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_chug.gif)
edit - I also agree with the moosehead tasting the best out of the barrel, the same as rickard's red. I like draught. I never really cared for a can, except maybe on a scorching day at the lake for instance, than someone give me a knife b/c its shotgun time.
