Default valve clearance

wanted to know if you guys think this is to big to fit a 2008 vortec max l76.
the cam spec are dur 239/247 in/ex 624/624 lift on lsa lobes and 111+4 lsa

Chances of someone knowing first hand are not so great without it being a popular off shelf grind, either way you need to check PTV regardless.

You will most likely have to flycut valve relief into the pistons with that cam.

Good specs for that combo, though.

There are a few guys on here running that same longblock, same 239/247 .624 specs LSL lobes, slightly tighter 110+4, and really hauling the mail with a simple combo.

2900lbs 9.87 @ 137 89 Mustang, open header, th350
3700lbs 10.77 @ 125 68 Chevelle, mufflers, 200r4

I just put this cam in my stock headed 98 LS1, but mine is on a 109 LSA with 2 degrees advanced cut in, no flycutting.

Rectangle port heads with a 2.165 intake will most def have to flycut the pistons my2CNTS
