My head is spinning from all that, man have I got alot to learn. How to read plugs, I hope I can get the plug right enough to start with so I don't burn anything up,while I'm learning to read these.
I think most of the guys in that discussion had computer EFI LS motors. Would that projected or non-projected plug be the same with a carbed 6.0? And would the same plug and heat range apply. The TR 55's are not as projected as in the pic in the discussion but seems to be a little bit more than the non-projected one. And I have been gapping them at .040. The guy I asked about plugs is a friend of mine He runs a 55 Chevy wagon, stroked SM chevy (not LS) with a 300 shot and runs 9.07's at 150 mph. He suggested the TR 55's.But thought I should ask some questions here. Heres a pic of my tr 55

You need to run a BR7EF, it is a excellent plug and it is what i used for a 150 shot and they are perfect.

I would be running #8 heat range with that motor combo no doubt. That BR7EF is fine for lower power levels but if you're hitting it with a big shot, I hope you have everything set up properly.

Exactly, a BR7 is great for a 150 shot.
