Made a motor run on very conservative timing letting out at the 1000' for a 10.0 @128
Turned the bottle on and it is driving through the trans and converter. (23% slip only getting 400rpm drop on the 2-3 shift)
4th run we decided to turn the bottle on as the converter was a little too tight for it on nuts alone.
Suprised us a little with how much it woke up.
Racepak data showed it was shaking the tires through first gear.
Track prep was OK.
A few times the talk about 6010 vrs distributor has come up - another reason Im running the distributor and 7531 box came up. To get the car to go down the track, I had 20º retard coming off the trans brake. I had 12º of retard for the nitrous, and 8º coming out for launch, ramping back in at 1.5 seconds.
