what plugs and gap?
Been reading some of the older threads and from what I see I should run TR5's gapped at .40-.45" maybe TR6's
Car has LS3 heads with 10.5:1 static and 8.22:1 dynamic. Gonna run on 93.
Does this sound good? I hope to fire this thing up by the weekend.

forgot I had started this thread and was fixing to do it again lol.
I've been running TR5's gapped at .040". Seems to like 30 degrees timing best and got the AFR at 12.8. Car runs good, 6.70's 1/8 mile
BUT, I've changed plugs in 2 H/C F bodies in the last couple weeks and they both had TR6's in them. Should I give a set a try and if so, how would you think it would affect the tune? Thanks

My understanding of the heat range selection is this. The plug needs to be hot enough to keep itself clean but cool enough not to cause pre-ignition(detonation) or damage itself by overheating.
So, I generally just choose the coldest plug that will keep itself clean. I currently run TR6s gapped at .40. The stay clean in my car. I have a 10.9:1 6.0.
