Anybody running an LS6 cam?
I am about to start the swap in my Chevelle over the next few weeks. I will be using an LQ4, a set of milled 241s, and an 02+ LS6 cam. My question is, will this cam work with a carb setup? I know that the carb setups tend to like a tighter LSA cam. I just wanted to know if the LS6 was too wide of a LSA to use.
I have everything together to do the swap, and have been dead set on going fuel injected up until now. I found a PCM, got the TV setup for my 200-4r for the throttle body setup and everything. To me though, the fuel injected setup just looks a little out of place under the hood. I may or may not go carb'd, but would like to be sure my setup would work either way in case I do go carb'd.

I'm running a stock LS2 crate motor. The LS2's got the LS6 heads and cam. They work just fine with a carb and single plane intake. In fact, GM rated the carb'd LS2 at 440 HP while the EFI version is only 405 HP. A better torque curve everywhere too.
