Default 2 questions plugs/carb

Just pulled the plugs on my 4.8 was going to reuse them. But I'll spend a couple bucks and buy new since I don't know the true mileage of them. What type of plugs are you guys running on a carbed application? Its a stock engine don't need nothing to fancy. Also looking into getting a new street demon carb for this. Is this a good carb? I have a 1406 eddy but I'm not too happy with it. I rebuild it, Seems like it had its day. Thought the demon carb would be a good candidate for a 4.8 Any thoughts on what you guys think would be great.

Everytime ive owned a demon they are always rich, for a good out of the box carb i like the holley douple pumper 750 mech secondaries. You can tune a demon in and they are as good as any carb but outta the box i vote holley or quick fuel

You are 100% right about the demons. Everyone I ever fooled with was rich out of the box. I say Holley. You can get parts anywhere for them if your stuck beside the road.

I had a talk with a Demon Tech a while back when I was looking to buy one.
He told me Demons are wet flow rated Vs. Holley being dry flow rated and this is where a lot of people get into trouble.
I was also told that a 750 Mighty Demon would flow in the low 900's on a Holley bench.

Any mass produced carb will need a little fine tunning out of the box.
