Default Header Question

was just wondering how yall felt about 2" primary headers on a cam only 6.0 with super victor intake. I know it is gonna lose some torque at least I believe so with this but was curious if any one else has used these with success they are 3.5" collector made for 351w swap going in foxbody.

Cam/6.0 and 1 7/8" here....can't say much yet, but the short street ride I got in so far....no problem's, but I also have a 4500 stall.

If max power is a concern, do it if you have a large converter.

I believe you will not gain from a 2" primary over a 1-7/8" unless you are a track only car. If you rarely drive your car in the low rpm's and race it alot I'm sure it's a good thing. But if it rarely sees the track an you dd it alot I'd say go to 1-3/4 stepped to 1-7/8 or straight 1-7/8 if they don't make a stepped primary for your application. Just my 2 pennies

The reason I chose 2" was due to about a $60 difference in price cheaper than 1 3/4 tube headers through my work i was worried it would kill bottom end and hurt back pressure. Thats why I was wondering yall thoughts on this I already have them ordered so theres no going back without losing money My plan is a 6.0 with the torquerv2 cam for now with new springs good to .650 lift i know the cam is under .600 but want the room to grow later down the road with the super vic intake and a 850 cfm carb or 750 if find one super cheap im also going to run a 3500-4000 stall which i hope will offset some of the loss on the bottom end

Any other opinions ? this car will hit the road some but about as much as it hits the track so Im hoping the 4000 stall and the light car will work well with the header size. I know i really need to do something for heads but thats outta the budget right now but will definitely be a change down the road
