Default pushrod question

ok, question guys. When I first assembled this thing, it was put together with 7.4 inch pushrods. When I had the wiring issue with the msd, I thought the pushrods may have been too long, holding the valves open slightly. I swapped in some 7.375s. It has ran fine, its not noisy. But, now that I am trying to get every last bit of power, I am wondering ifI swap back in the 7.4s, will I gain any power(from lift or whatever) or will I just gain more preload ? I have been trying to figure this out on my own, but cant come up with a good answer. Help?

The motor was set up for the longer pushrods, pistons were notched with them in place. I swapped the 7.375s in when I had a popping issue, which turned out to be wires crossed internal of the msd to the coils. After I fixed the problem, I never swapped the pushrods back, and now am wondering if there may be power to be had?

Power to be had? I seriously doubt it...right length pushrod back in motor, definitely lol.

well, I figure these are "right" They passed the turns till torqued method described on here, but didnt know if it would gain any lift, or just pre load with the others. My heads have been milled .020, so stock length just seems like it would be too long. Its running fine right now, but I just want more. It will go 6.3s soon all motor, so its doing ok for a cam only car.

get an adjustable pushrod and measure. that is the only correct answer.
