msd 6010 setup and first start Like title says its a 5.3 with 243 heads btr custom cam and valvetrain, proform carb turbo 350 trans with a 3800-4000 stall all into a lightweight s10 but anyways I got the victor Jr intake and msd box secondhand and don't have the software CD for it but I have the box harness and pills. Question is do you have to have the CD to program the box or do you just put a pill in and go can't find a definite answer and its not like I can look in my instructions lol any help and tips is appreciated as its my first carb L's but not first ls build and does the map really help drivability?

Thanks zonez, definitely gonna tune it I was just hoping I didn't have to do anything special just to get it running, you made me a better Christmas lol now to piece together my stand alone nitrous system and be on the road, so I assume the CD is for the ability to tune and so on like the software side of it

You don't need the CD. Everything they have is on line including the instructions. When you are ready to install a custom tune then down load the newest version of the software like Doug said.
You don't even need a pill for the first start. It defaults to I think pill #3. Just plug that bad boy in and light it up.
