Most are based on feeding a poor flowing unresponsive v8 designed when Eisenhower was president. In essence they do not apply to LS motors.
I have a 670 right now and I think its too small
IF it's a street car, a 650VS will be fine....even a 750VS will work fine. NOW IF you plan on hitting the strip....get a 750DP
I run a 670 VS - everyone said it was too small - until I ran 11s
When you look at the HP these motors put out they are more like big blocks than small blocks. Smaller carbs will always work, you just never know how much power you are leaving behind.
Like said above the overwhelming majority of guys on here run a 750 or larger on their 6.0L motors. It won't be too big

The 700 was just never designed for that much torque. I had a "race" 700 built by a performance transmission shop and I took it back three times for warranty repairs. It is sitting on my garage floor now collecting dust. I don't have it in me to throw away $1700.
