Winter update...........
Winter update........... Haven't been on this site for some time, so thought I'd update what I'm up to. Last season my best was a 10.43 @ 130. Still spinning some off the line. Decided to freshen up engine, which found scratched piston skirts and cylinder. Was running really rich for a while so it probably washed the cylinders. Lesson learned (the hard way) So had block honed another .010 and ordered new pistons , rebalancing everything. Got a new cam from Bullet cams 248/260 dur. and 625/621 lift. Also got Yella Terra full roller rockers. Changed from the TCI turbo 350 to a power glide with manual valve body and trans brake. Also had head work finished and now with bigger valves and all the porting done they flow 320 @ 600 lift. Finally got my front Bogarts and skinnies. Have planned on lowering pickup another 3 to 3 1/2 inches. So will be ordering Strange dual adjustable coil overs for the front and taking bed off and cutting off frame at cab , fabing new frame. Also lengthening ladder bars about a foot. Hoping to hit 10.0's or 9.90's . Probably will use a 300 shot this year. Hope all of you are having a safe winter. I drive a truck north into Iowa and Minnesota 3- 4 times a week. I'm sick of winter. Some pics...

Ya , I'm 273 and only 5'9". Have to stick my arms out to see if I'm walk'n or rollin. Thanks for liking my truck. Have been working on it for 5 yrs now. Lots of mistakes and changes, From a 4.3 with a 100 shot and 4.10's to a stroked 6.0.From going 17's to 10.43. It's been a fun ride. Hope to see 9.90's this yr. Oh Ya and way to much money.............
