Default Lq4 ???

is it worth going from 317s milled .35 to 243s or799 ???

Even if you already have a set of 243's or 799's, I still dont think its worth the trouble. All 3 of those heads flow roughly the same. The only reason most people swap to stock 243 or 799 from 317 is to gain a little more compression which your milled 317's are already giving you.

The only benefit that jumps out to me would be the gain in piston-to-valve clearance allowing for a larger camshaft if the application could benefit. A good example would be a stock bottom end street/strip type deal that needed both the compression and a decent sized camshaft to meet the performance goals.
