Default Head question

Hey guys, I know this has been talked about 5,000 times but I want some of y'all 's opinions.

I have a 6.0 I just picked up out of a low mileage silverado 2500. The motor is complete and has 317 heads on it as of now. I have been reading a lot about the tfs genx 215s and that's probably what I'll go with. Do you guys think that will be my best bet even if later on I want to spray it or even one day go turbo ?

Oh and as of yet I only have the motor, msd 6014 and intake. The motor will be at the machine shop next week and possible different pistons will be installed and everything freshened up. I don't have a cam picked out as I'm not 100% on what I'll be doing more of in the truck. It's also going in a 95 s10 that will be built more for family time ... taking out to the track and driving to shows. Trans is another one I'm not dead set on either.

Sorry I know I'm missing a lot of info here.

If you aren't trying to race the world and just want to have fun, stick with the 317s. Or have them ported.

No I'm really not worried about a hp number or a track time just a fun little truck that's going to be able to go on road trips from time to time.

With that being said when my buddy smarts off in his cobra I want to be able to give him a run for his money. I eventually will turn this truck into a drag truck, for now it's something for me and the ol lady to work on.

I'm pretty excited about this build, I been building diesels the past 8 years and I'm ready for a change. I know it's all expensive, but so far it has been a lot cheaper than my last build.
