Valve Guide Material

Hello, I’ll be doing the trunion upgrade on my stock rockers and I want to get a valve job done as well. My cam lift is .625/.605. Are powdered metal guides best or should I go to bronze? I’m assuming the factory used powdered metal but I’m not sure. Are stock guides still good at this amount of lift? I’m just trying to get a parts list together and in the situation where I need new guides I can have everything in order. 823 casting number cylinder head. Thanks.

With stock-type rockers our best bet on valve guide material is powdered metal, aka sintered iron.
Stock type rockers and bronze don't always play well.

Yes power metal if staying with stock rockers.
