Is this a scam?

This guy on Ebay is selling a complete 02 SS Drive train for $2300 with free shipping but the bidding is already up to $3150.

I asked him for some pictures of the item and he sent me three pics that had been hosted on Ebay, but he had no pics posted on his auction. I also asked for the VIN and he sent me a partial picture of the title in it was an odo reading of 9373 but the auction says the engine has 6273 miles.

I know that saying about it being to good, what to you all think?
Anyone local that might be willing to take a look and make a few bucks if this deal goes through?

Could possibly be a scam .. but he sure does have a lot of ++ feedback. BUT .. most of his feedback was with him being the buyer. I dunno -- I'd probably just stay clear.

. I looked at his feedback and it's very good but if things don't add up, such as the pictures and mileage then I'd say don't bid. You never know, someone could've pirated his ebay account and is trying to scam money from an unsuspecting bidder. I did notice that all the other items this seller has sold are cheap things like baseball cards and books, so I'd say don't chance it.

I know I looked at his feedback and nothing was over like $10 and it's all cards and stuff. Then he says to email him at this whatever motors email address. Unless one of you guy's are local and would like to make a bit of dough checking it out I think I'll stay clear. I have this place 5 min from me... http://www.tacreationsusa.com/
and a could of guy's here like IronDonut have recomended them.
