Default which hood

i have a problem with my hood, it simply doesn't fit with the new motor i have. I was thinking of 4" cowl hood but went out and tried to get rough measurements and came up with about 6" . Also not sure where exactly cowl would start because i have clearance issues up front as well. Motor is 454 with weiand 177 . Edelbrock 750 cfm carb with a drop base air cleaner. Also i think i might be getting bad measurements because my fenders are not completely bolted down yet. Any body have similar setup and have suggestion on the hood that would fit?

Cut a hole in the hood and put a tunnle ram set up on it. I always loved that look.

Get a hood like the old Dallas Cowboys stadium, with a big hole in it so God can see your motor

i ended up with 6" cowl hood that barely fits. I am thinking of keeping the stock one and cut a hole in it when i feel like showing my motor.
