Pulling an LS1, Harness and PCM...PLEASE HELP!!!
Okay, so my local-ish PNP has a 2000-ish Z28 ready for part-out...getting there early in the hopes to grab an LS1. I've got some crazy plans for either my '79 Volvo 242 or '90 Mazda Miata...not sure where this is going yet, just can't pass up the deal. The car was involved in a front end collision, pushed the radiator and support back against the alternator.
I'm coming armed with my tool box and a sawzall...thinking i can cut away the impacted stuff and get it all out of the way.
Does anyone have any tips on how I can get a LS1 out of a 2000-ish Camaro. I also need to grab the engine harness...any tips here and where's the PCM.
This may sound like a Noob post, but I'm scrambling at the last minute to get ready for this and don't quite know where to begin. Thanks for the help!
