Default A/c ?

I'm going to change the a/c compressor and I need to discharge the system , how do i do this safely. Thank's

You will have to go to a shop for that one.

Get an A/C charging hose, connect it to the low pressure port. Direct the discharge away from you, and don't hold the hose by the very end. Don't come in contact with the liquid refrigerant, it can cause frostbite. Don't do this anywhere but out in the open, ie. not in a garage.

Thank's for the info but i found a shop and is going to charge me $40.00 to discharge the system so is cheap and not to far from my house. Thank's
