Leaking coolant

Default Leaking coolant

Yesterday I unclogged my heater core to ge some heat fo the winter so I put new coolant an water in are I finished the heater core so now at work I started up my car to warm it up I seen it dripping so looked under an seen it leaking on top of my plug wires on the left side but when it warmed up it didn't seem to leak as bad so I drove home an now it's sounds like it's missing too idk wat to do water pump an opti are a year old i don't kno wat to do Also it didn't over heat not one bit even sitting a light

Also as I'm thinking bout it there was very little coolant in the radiator as I took out the plug an more came out as I pulled the heater lines from the water pump
I read on another form that the bolts the to water pump will get worn out an let coolant out but this leak is an small stream so idk wat to think now

Sounds like the leak messed the opti up man. Sorry to say but you'll be looking into replacing the opti at least if not be in it for another water pump. I've seen the housings of these water pumps leak right off the shelf.

I found out that my top hose to the heater core is leaking an dripping down on the hose I think I there's an hole in it where I connect to the water pump

good to hear you found the source of the leak. Hopefully that misfire doesn't get too serious but those Optisparks are so finicky I would put money on it that you are probably going to have to replace it.

Well as of now it seems to be running fine but who know long it last an now gotta replace the window motor goes down but stops going up
