So i have a 99 camaro 3.8, and yesterday it wouldnt start if the key was turned. Vats is ruled out, battery is fine. I read on another post to take the purple wire on the passenger side under the hood and apply 12v to it while the key was in thw "on" position, and it started fine. My question is, what does this mean? Is my starter solenoid bad or what is it? First time posting here, so please let me know if you need more info or if im missing anything, thanks in advance!


Edit: Changed the relay, turned out to be bad.
