2002 B4C question
Hey guys, new to LS1Tech and seeking some clarification.
I just picked up (last sept) an 02 B4C at an auction with 47k miles on it, great condition and was just fumbling around and came across this: http://www.camaroz28.com/2002-camaro...ction-numbers/
My question is how accurate is this?
Camaro B4C Special Service with Automatic
583 units:
41U Onyx Black – 320 – 54.9%
10U Arctic White – 114 – 19.6%
28U Navy Blue Metallic – 42 – 7.2%
13U Sebring Silver – 33 – 5.7%
44U Montery Maroon Metallic – 29 – 5.0%
11U Light Pewter Metallic – 25 – 4.3%
01U Police (B4C) Two-Tone – 13 – 2.2%
71U Sunset Orange Metallic – 1 – 0.2%
I have the Navy Blue Metallic (though it also has black trim around windows, front etc, so not 100% sure it isn't the "two tone" they are referring to), so am I to understand IF none of them were wrecked/blown up etc that I am driving one of only 42 cars like this? And if this is so, whats yous guys advice on garaging it/driving it seeing as it has relatively low miles?
Thanks for any advice, much appreciated.

The two tone color was probably the typical white/black police paint scheme. What you have is the typical Z28 color pattern. All Z28s have the sail panel painted black, the V6 cars had color matching top and some of the SS cars did as well.
What you choose to do with the car is up to you, but i doubt its "rare enough" to really hold more value over another Z28. I say drive it, enjoy it and mod it to get what you want out of it.

The special two-tone is referring to a request by the police dept that ordered the car.
For as many B4C cars as I've seen they're all one color, they didn't have a black roof or b-pillar like regular z28's...
Does your car have the B4C code on the door?

I recently bought a 2002 B4C, also blue. I would recommend modding. I like the stock sleeper look Not sure if there will ever be any real value despite being a unique vehicle. This one was a Maryland State Police Car. Nice stats on the production!
