Advice for headers

Advice for headers I have 1999 SS, completely stock motor except borla exhaust I'm pretty new at this, so I need some advice for choosing headers. The main thing I want out of the headers is a deeper sound. So im need help with brand, shortys, or long tube, y, x, or H? Most likely ill get high flow cats.

For a quality budget header/midpipe setup most seem to recommend either TSP or Speed Engineering LT's with their Y-pipes. IDK of anyone running a X of H pipe that hasn't go to a true dual setup.

If a deeper exhaust note is your primary goal, I'm not sure that headers alone will give you what you want; muffler selection and pipe diameter and configuration (Y/H/X, straight duals, dumps, or some combo of these) will generally play a bigger role in that factor. If you want to keep your current catback and just add headers, then don't expect a huge change in the exhaust note.
