I found an engine and transmission on Facebook Marketplace that I'm interested in and thought could be suitable for my 1967 Camaro.
It's listed as a Chevy 5.3L 06-07 engine with a 4L60E transmission. However, I can't find any information about the engine when I try to google the engine number.
I would appreciate help with identification as well as tips on whether it's a good package to install in the car. I'm also interested in tips for installing the engine and transmission in the car. I'm attaching some pictures of the package.
The 862 head casting tells me it's a 4.8 or 5.3 LS truck engine with a 4L60E transmission. Easy way to tell is to look at the top of the piston if dished most likely a 5.3 beacuse 4.8's are flat top piston.
