Default need some feedback

OK here goes. I own my second dream car. Which the this is the second one that i have owned, and I love this car more than anything, BUT! My brother has a 68 SS 396 pretty much fully restored, and road ready. The guy that he bought it from is a mechanic and did all the right things to the engine and drivetrain. My brother just had it completely repainted, new rear quarter panels welded on, and has done a couple of other things that are very nice. needless to say this car is the shiot in my opinion. Now granted The LS1 camaros are everywhere and its not hard to find one and build it up. But in my case coming by a 1st generation camaro that is worth a crap and affordable seems to be quite a problem. Now here is where i need yalls help. His ol' lady is driving him up the wall about selling his car. He has concidered selling it, but he would like to keep it for the most part. I have been thinking about selling my LS1 SS for his 68 SS. He needs the money so that his wife can go spend it shopping, thats not what she'll tell you, but its the truth. If you had a chance to get your hands on a dream car that you have wanted since you were like 4 years old. But you were hessitant about selling your other dream car. What would you do. I could help my brother out. I could have the car that I have always wanted. Then eventually get back the car that I already have. Not necessarily the exact same car, but can build one just like it, then surpass it. What would you do. I have some photos of my car, and some of his car. Take a look at them and tell me what you think. His photos are right when he got it home from paint, before he put all his chrome back onto the car.

01 SS is on the 1st page, and the 68 is on the 3rd

I would say keep it because I don't think you are gonna get your money back that you threw in that SS. You can find 1st gen camaros on ebay and other places. Tell your brothers wife to relax and tell your brother not to sell the car. He will regret it for the rest of his life.

I would do it. I love my LT1, love it. But like you my dream car is a 1st gen. Camaro. If I had the opportunity to get a '69 fully restored Camaro by getting rid of the LT1, I would do it in a heartbeat. 1st gens. will always go up in value where as our LT1s and LS1s will go down before up. You'll find another LS1, get the '68!!

Have the best of both worlds. Trade the cars and drop a LS1 in that 68... Sweet!!!
