Third gen thread!

believe or not the paint on the back of the car...(doors back) was done by a place in town known for crappy crafstmanship...i'd never bring a car their again ever!....the front end was done by a guy that does awesome work!...i just attacked the rest of the car with a buffer and some gold class megueirs compounds.....after i get a few more mods done i wanna have the door redone...they have small dents and sanding marks in them....people should figure primer is for finding imperfections like that

van nuys cali was the bad place because of the water based paint and norwood ohio was the good place because of the laquer based/ enamel paint they used....mine is an ohio car but i was mentioning what i did because of shitty prep work on the car in spots before it was repainted

The only way to save the original paint is to garage it and keep it out of the elements. GM actually would repaint the cars under warranty but that offer has long since expired.

A Custom 1992 Camaro Z28
The car is medium quasar blue metallic with two (2) silver glossy racing stripes going from the bumper, over rear wing, roof, over ASCD IROC Daytona fiberglass hood, front, and down front spoiler.
The car is powered by a 5.7 Liter V8, 350 TPI. The car is an automatic with Custom Blue/Silver Leather Upholstered Seats (Front & Rear) w/ custom embroidery.
The car rides on P275/40/R17 Hankook V-Groove tires with Highly Polished Torque Thrust ][ 17x8 Rims.
I had my car duplicated in 1:18th scale diecast.

Matching blue/silver re-upholstered front and rear seats with "Z28 25th Anniversary" digitized embroidery on front seat backs as matching the dash on front of the passenger dashboard.

A band in Nova Scotia seen the car and asked if they could put the car on the front cover of their cd. I was so honored! I natually said yes! :-)

I had a custom jacket made with my car digitized embroidered on the front and back which ended up costing me $1000

Back

On the front of the jacket are two (2) embroideries. The first one is a 2.5" X 1" embroidered "Z28" text in metallic type blue with metallic type light grey/silver outlining (Like the blue/silver stripes on actual Camaro). This embroidery consists of over 4,300 stitches.
The second is our Digitized Camaro. It is a smaller representation of the larger Digitized Camaro that is on the back of the jacket. This smaller front embroidery is a full color 4.5" X 2" and consists of over 13,300 stitches.

On the back of the jacket are another two (2) embroideries. The first one is a 10" X 1.5" embroidered "CAMAROSOURCE.CA" in metallic type blue threading. This embroidery consists of over 7,200 stitches.
BTW: It's perfectly STRAIGHT, not the best of pictures :-)
The second is our Digitized Camaro. It is the large Digitized Camaro that was used for the smaller one on the front of the jacket. This Larger back embroidery is a full color 10.5" X 4" and MASSIVE number of stitches. This little number has 60,000 stitches! It is a very detailed representation of the our actual Camaro and even has the "CAMAROSOURCE.CA" windshield decal on it's windshield like on the actual car, right down to the silver "Z28" on the bottom of the side Ground FX.

10 1/2" metal Diecast replica made especially for myself. I take it to the local car shows. :-)
I had my car duplicated in 1:18th scale diecast metal complete with opening hood, opening doors, working wheels, turning steering, Blue (w/ metal flake) with silver racing stripes (approx 3 coats of paint and 3 coats of clear), blue and silver interior front and rear seats, carpeting, headlining, custom pedals, instrument panel, steering wheel, ground effects, rear wing, fog lights, IROC Daytona hood, and much more..

Matching blue/silver interior with the "25th anniversary edition" on the front seats :-)

Down to the black/silver pedals :-)
