axle codes

Hey guy's how do I tell what gear my car has? It's an 02 a4 SS. Is there an option code?

GU2 is 2.73's,

GU5 is 3.23's

I think... search isnt working for some reason.

That is correct. I'm almost positive the original poster will have 3.23's.

For an SS I'm sure it's 3.23s. AFAIK the GU5 (3.23 gear) option was required with selection of the WU8 (SS) option on an auto trans car.
